Clyde Williams was driving West on the Three Points Road about six miles beyond Lake Hughes when he saw what he thought was a bear looking or smelling at something at the side of the road. It then rose on its hind legs and ran in front of his headlights. He sloammed on the brakes and started to get out of the car, then saw its face, which looked almost human. It had longish white hair about the shoulders. He froze, and the creature turned and ran up the mountainside.
