Sasquatch@onelist.com Nauvee County, Alabama. In 1990 witness was having problem with something killing and eating his chickens. Late evening witness and friend sat in sage grass 300 meters away and did some predator calling with fawn distress varmint call. Nothing happened but at almost dark saw 150 meters away something walking just inside the woodline...it was on two feet. Shining a light, saw something step back. Shortly after using fawn call again, noticed musky odor. As the wind was at our back, something had moved behind, then let ourt a series of screams. Witness and friend got outta’ there. Three days later wife, son and self walking down road when a deer came running from the same area, stopped, looked back, and then they heard same series of screams, and the deer, rather than go back, ran within 20 feet of witness in the opposite direction from the screams. Later, during deer season, friend shot deer 20 minutes before dark. It ran into the woods, and we decided to return at first light (below freezing out). The next day walked 30 yards into forest and found dead deer on edge of pine thicket. Waiting until friend could come in three hours to help...we then walked back and noted the same stench as months before. The deer was gone. you could see where it and fallen, but was nowhere and there were no drag marks in the leaves. There are no known predators larger than coyotes or bobcats, and the deer weighed around 100-125 pounds. Something had carried it from the area 1.5 miles SE of Nauvee, Alabama.
