The latest video breakdown by Thinker Thunker has gotten under my skin. He took a perfectly innocent video and turned it in to a circus freak show. I'm sure he knows damn well there are no Bigfoot in his video but that doesn't sell. What does sell is contrived bullshit combined with flashy software and some fast talking.
It is people like Thinker Thunker who make the Bigfoot community look foolish. He may not be a hoaxer but he is a hoax enabler and a bullshit artist. Thinker Thunker is counting on the fact that people will blindly believe his weak analysis, and that those people will not research the issue.
Two other breakdowns have been done by other individuals and their analysis of the video better shows what those bipeds likely are. They are human beings out for the day, having fun. Even still, there are others who dismiss those breakdowns in order to side with Thinker Thunker. No real reasons were given other, than "I trust him more" or "I believe him". Really? Is that good enough for people nowadays? It's kind of scary if you sit back and think about it.
I was visiting a thread in one of the Bigfoot Facebook groups and there were a few people who were able to cast doubt on the Bigfoot vs. Buffalo video in about five minutes.
Here is a link to the streaming video of Yellowstone. Old Faithful Geyser Webcam
I checked the webcam yesterday and *gasp* guess what I saw? No, it wasn't a rogue Bigfoot. It was a person strolling on the walkway. It takes awhile for the person to start walking. Look to the right side of the screen and you will see a dark figure on the walkway.
Someone took a few minutes to compose an email and send it to the park. After all, if you want to really get to the bottom of a mystery, why not start with a comment from park officials.
This was the reply the individual received.
If that's not enough, the same person found a website showing a group of people out that very day. Could they be the four people caught by the park webcam?
Link: Yellowstone National Park
You won't believe this but one person in the group took a photograph of a fierce Buffalo.
There was a question asked on the website but no reply had been given when I last checked the site. Today the person replied to the question. Click on the photo to enlarge.
"how many where there in your group , and did you walk single file?"
"Hey Danny, there were four of us. When we snow shoed we mostly walked single file, but there was room in some areas to walk next to each other on more established trails. Thanks for sending the Bigfoot link. Wish we could have had a sighting!"
Isn't that an interesting coincidence? Thinker Thunker magically finds four Bigfoot in a random video and there were four individuals walking single file in the same area, and on the same day.
Common sense and a tiny bit of logic should tell us that just maybe this group was caught by the park webcam.
This kind of blatant sensationalism by people such as Thinker Thunker needs to come to a stop. Take ten minutes to do a bit of checking on your own. People in the community are always complaining about hoaxers but how many are doing anything about it? Take the time and dig for answers you can share with others. Let's put an end to this madness.
Theres money to be made by doing what TT does no other reason. I would imagine just from this last video and the drama it has created his clicks probley went up 25%.
ReplyDeleteAF
He has over half a million hits already...Unreal!
DeleteYep, if he had a decent web page eith some advertising he could probley supplement a decent living.
DeleteHe could probably also spell probably, probably.
DeleteHate the android spell check not the poster.
DeleteYeah, cause that's what it was, the android spell checker. If you know how to spell, you don't need a spell checker for common words.
DeleteI have a degree in Business and marketing and never understood why people like TT, Dyer, FB/FB and others never invested any money in a decent webpage. When they were peaking they could have made some decent money just from adds on there sites.
ReplyDeleteAF
Awesome job on this Randy!
ReplyDeleteA perfect example of HOAXING. taking innocent vision and totally misrepresenting it. If TT thought it was in anyway legitimate then his inability to research the footage shows he is to lightweight to be credible in his assessments.
ReplyDeleteBig Thumbs down to Thinker Thunker.
Yes his is similar to that Anders guy except Anders prob is in on the hoaxes he "breaks' down. These guys always have their little group of 'fans'.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how accurate it is, but I have often heard that on Youtube videos that are monetized you can guesstimate $3 per thousand views in income. Assuming that is accurate, this video has grossed him over $1500. It's not hard to see why it pays to play things up for views. That is aside from whatever ego stroking may be involve.
ReplyDeleteIn the begining it was probley ego and attention, but now its monetary.
DeleteAF
Probably
DeleteThinker Thunker IS the biggest Douche bag when it comes to video break downs I for one unsubscribed from his You Tube channel. Never again will I listen to his whinny Condescending voice!!!!!
DeleteAnother thing that gets to me about TT is his replies to people. If anyone disagrees in the comments (especially when the video just comes out) he turns on the attitude. Forget the folksy nice guy in the video, he brings the out the heavy sarcasm no matter how nice the criticism may be.
ReplyDeleteIt brings hits....gotta go back to the site if you want to respond.
DeleteLook at Dyer as an example. Everyone knew he was hoaxing everyone knew he was lying but they couldn't wait for his next video so they could shred on him. How many times did people rewatch his videos because someone caught something he said or something he did.....hits equells money.
AF
Dyer was stupid when it came to his youtube vids tho, everyone was afraid if he found out who they were that his TT buddies would start calling their jobs or they would accuse them of having sex with animals. If he would of played it smart he could of drove up his hits a hundred fold on youtube just from the comments. But of course nobody ever gave him credit for being a marketing genius.
DeleteAF
He is a narcissist he does not want an open discussion on anything he post unless you give him praise.
DeleteChris Sands once said Dyeria was a "marketing genius"
DeleteWhat a dumb-ass.
All scammers have one thing in common, they are lazy bastards. There will always, always be scammers, but when it comes to Bigfoot community there is a sheriff in town and the posse behind the scenes is more tenacious than any scamming bastard could ever dream to be.
ReplyDeleteNow if the Bigfoot community would get off their COLLECTIVE asses and help out, then maybe more of the general public would no longer blow off Bigfoot as a carnival show.
I think the only thing that would take bigfoot out of the carnival show would be a body, a legit hair sample, blood, scat, bones, any biological material, a clear photo or video. Lots of options to prove it exists but none have been shown.... conclusion and common sense would say that it doesn't exist. I get tired of hearing the stories of hunters that had it in his sights but couldn't pull the trigger or the guy that gets a shot of a blob on a hill that they claim to be a bigfoot. Then you have the "groups" or "projects." Ontario talks with bigfoot but can't film it? They have set up a line of communication with the most shy beast in the forest but have produced no proof other than some mildly asthmatic voices. Then there is the Erickson Project who says the goal is to have bigfoot recognized as a real species. They managed to film a bag of fur moving on the ground and a chewbacca head. During the five years they researched they didn't manage any legit dna, hair sample, how they function socially or the habits of the creature. Some research. Anyway that my rant.
ReplyDelete+1 great post

DeleteWe have everything except a body!
And any evidence that can't be refuted by logic and a little investigation.
DeleteBeen saying it for many years. If I spent 1/2 million in bigfoot research I better have more than a couple blurry videos.
DeleteBF. When a body is found the hoaxers will multiply 10 fold and real evidence will still suffer.
ReplyDeleteIf you get an actual body, you will have more people than ever looking- many of them who know what they are doing. Stump pictures and wishful thinking will not cut it then. Actually it would be interesting to see if anyone knew what they were talking about to begin with.
DeleteThis is assuming there's something out there to find.
When a body does come out, all of BF will subside IMO. What else is left, its been proven! We will have the last laugh!!
DeleteIt's not that I believe tt. But perhaps he was miss lead or perhaps he didn't do research to backup what he was doing and took the video at face value. But for you to sling mud at him to make yourself look like your perfect is juvenile at best. If this creature is real than we need as much evidence as we can get. Sort through it and discount what's false, wrong or purely hoaxes. But I believe tt is a true believer. If he made a mistake than so be it. I believe we are all entitled to make mistakes. Glass house my friend. Thanks, have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI am not trying to make myself look perfect. I'm not perfect and I never will be but I try to improve and educate myself.
DeleteIf you don't know too much bot Thinker Thunker, you might want to do some research on him. He used to do very good breakdowns back in the day but somewhere along the way that all changed.
TT started revisiting old videos that were already proven to be hoaxes or misidentifications.
1.) The IMAX video. This was a crew member on an ATV or bike, yet TT tried to twist it in to a Bigfoot. He was wrong.
2.) The Siberian Bigfoot. An old video that was thoroughly thrashed when it cam out. TT, once again calls it a Bigfoot AND he adds a baby to the mix. Igor Burtsev confirmed this to be a hoax shortly after. TT was wrong.
3.) The Creature in the Giant Sequoias. Soundly debunked. TT revisits this and tries to convince people it's a Bigfoot. It was a documentary. This was proven over and over. TT was wrong.
There are other videos that he was wrong on or that he sensationalized but these are the three big ones.
TT is not stupid and I said as much on CryptoLogic Radio the other night. I think he's a smart guy and he knows exactly what he's doing. He is creating controversy in order to drive hits to his videos...and it's working.
IF Thinker Thunker was genuine, his entire demeanor would be different. His narrative would be different.
Any breakdown specialist worth his or her salt researches first and produces a video second.
Now he is cherry picking videos and passing humans off as Bigfoot. It's utterly irresponsible and all he is doing is hurting the community while he lines his pockets from money made off gullible people.
My house is made of stone. You have a nice day as well.
Feel free to drop by any time.
TT goes in not as an unbiased investigator...instead of the data making the theory...he skews the data to match his preconceived theory...
ReplyDeletePhil Poling does the opposite, but same thing, except he does it with a non belief bias.
DeleteThe only person I see doing a neutral fair assessment, is Randy.
Phil actually believes.
DeletePhil Poling uses a scientific method and investigative techniques. He used to be a detective in Oregon. He does think Bigfoot is real but he does more than just Bigfoot video breakdowns.
DeleteHA!!!!
ReplyDeleteDyer posted a comment about one of my videos.
He posted as "Tyrelle Apuusa" on youtube
I think they just used his photo...
ReplyDeleteThe person did say they were using his photo, and called me an imbicile....lol, they can't spell imbecile, I'll bet it's Dyer!
DeleteYellowstone's Facebook page has a picture of the four people that were snowshoeing on the exact same day as the video webcam footage
ReplyDeleteTT is another wannabe movie making dreamer. These people are a dime a dozen. Ask Ro Sahebi (exploiting the Smeja shooting) Les Stroud, Todd Standing, any ghost hunter, etc.
ReplyDeleteIt is an ongoing trend not just in bigfoot but anything mysterious or paranormal.
It is an easy way to make a quick buck or gain fans, attention and support from the public.
How many of these alleged bigfoot "researchers" would be doing what they do, IF there was no Youtube, Facebook, or social media?
ReplyDeleteNone of them would bother if not for the online celebrity status that they crave for.
Not true, I researched for 6 years with no internet! Now that I have it, and put up videos, I had 15 subscribers and I have no clue what that means, lol.....Some of these researchers do a 15 min video of themselves, which is self centered, and craving attention, IMO. Just show us the research!
DeleteIf there was no YouTube, Facebook etc..these videos and photos would never be seen..
ReplyDeleteNo one would would even know about them.
exactly, online media is great for sharing to the masses but it's exploited by idiots and arseholes. Still, show me a body.
