The article, "A park Ranger's Lifelong Bigfoot Quest," Richard D. Seifried, Blackfoot Indians employed by the NPS said one winter near Babb, MT, on east side of Glacier NP, reported a creature running along the ridge top and screaming. Local deputy sheriff found huge prints in the snow and a patch of wool-like fur on a barbed wire fence. Lab at Bozeman said it was from a Grizzly bear. Again in July of 1985 with wife and daughter, he found a footprint along a trail in heavy forest. Five toes, delicate arch, and a well proportioned heel were seen cross-wise in the dusty trail.

Something ran through camp making a strange yell. witness thought it was a bear, but the next morning found some parallel tracks that appeared to be man shaped, only much larger. The area was in a high mountain meadow with lots of creeks, swampy in spots.

TR 91 SEPT 1999 * Robert Windsor of West Linn called after telling RICHARD RICHIE of a sighting....Richard runs a Reptile Museum on Hy. 26 at Boring, OR, and has a Bigfoot display by Frank Kaneaster. Robert works as a home loan mortgage broker and has been hunting his whole life, and did not previously believe in Bigfoot. Robert did attend the October meeting and related his tale to the WBS. Once before, twenty years ago, he was at Lake McDonald Park in Glacier Nat. Park, MT, at 1 AM, when there was a howling scream for five seconds. The half human half animal noise he thought at the time was a sick mountain lion, though it made the hair on the back of his neck stick up.

Sighting Text:
CTR 56 APRIL 96 * At the Diamond Bar Ranch, about 20 miles west of Augusta, MT, Chris ran across a whole nest of Bigfeet. Mostly heard, the one he saw was 8-9 feet tall, went into a crouch, and zipped into the woods. This was in 1982 while a boy...a boy and his dog. The dog's ears went up when he first heard an intensely loud noise that he at first thought was an elk bugle, then he saw the reddish fur creature, its arm leaning against a branch. The noise was so loud from the thing that he started to pass out, but made it back to the cabin, where he sat with a 30-30.
