This page contains photographs from a film that Roger Patterson & Bob Gimlin managed to record of a creature in 1967 at Bluff Creek in California. So far experts have not been able to disprove this film and so it remains a good piece of evidence in favor of the creatures' existence. Some people have claimed it as a person in a gorilla suit, but that would have been a very good trick to do in 1967, and expensive as well. It would be fairly simple for Hollywood to accomplish this now, but in 1967, not even Hollywood was this good at making costumes appear realistic. There is no need for any proof of that fact, just watch an old horror movie from then! Further evidence of their existence might be the fact that the footprints found at bluff creek were not all identical to each other as one would expect from someone wearing hoaxing shoes. Real footprints will vary from print to print, and these did. The copyright of these photos and the film are held by Rene Dahinden's heirs.

Below is an animated gif image made out of the film, I do not know who created the image, but it is very nicely done.  This image only loops 3 times before freezing so if it is not moving, refresh your browser in order to see it.

Pictured next is the famous still shot of frame 352 from the Patterson film.

Below is a close-up comparison view of the head of the creature in the above photograph after colorization. The photo on the left is the original and the photo on the right has been enhanced by the artist's rendition of what he believes the creature would look like if the picture were clearer.
