A $5,000 Challenge for Matthew Johnson

Raise your hand if you are sick and tired of listening to the liar, Matthew Johnson babble on endlessly about his made up Bigfoots and portals. I have done my best to ignore the blatant liar and condescending douchebag but his laughable stories of fantasy keeps popping up in some Facebook groups.

Seriously, there are people who eat up the campfire stories told by Johnson. Really. I need to sell those people a few bridges and some prime swamp land. Only an absolute imbecile could believe such tales of pure shit. Johnson doesn't even try any more. He just says whatever comes to his tiny little brain and regurgitates through his enormous piehole. And then his mindless minions clap and high-five each other. That is sad and pathetic but I don't try to convince them otherwise. What is the point?

I strongly believe that Matthew A. Johnson made up the entire portal story. To this day, he has not produced one piece of evidence to support his outrageous and delusional claims. Not a single one. A homemade machine is not evidence, especially when the maker of the machine was not present when  Johnson claims to have done his *barf* savior work *barf*. There are no photos, no videos. Nothing.
Bullshit testimonials don't count. People lie. Some people have mental problems. There are many reasons why witness testimony is not acceptable.


So, here is a legitimate and honest challenge. I am willing to put my money where my mouth is. I will give Matthew Johnson FIVE THOUSAND ($5,000) dollars if he can prove what he claims with regards to his functional portal device and the opening of a portal. I don't care to see any Bigfoot, so there should be no excuses for Matt to say why he can't accept the challenge.
He just has to PROVE that his device works and he has to PROVE that he can open and close a portal using his device. The proof must me irrefutable and verified by any three upstanding university professors or scientists. There must be real facts, not subjective opinions or testimonials. Real facts from real scientists. This should be a piece of cake for the big oaf.

I am not asking for the impossible and I don't want anything if he loses the challenge. Put up or shut up, it is that simple. An easy task for Mr. Big Mouth, right? An easy $5,000 in his pocket.

If Matthew Johnson refuses the challenge, then it is safe to assume that he is a liar. A fraud. A flim-flam man. An all around arrogant predator who uses his position as a "doctor" to prey on the weak -minded. He even uses his own child to promote his bullshit. That is a twisted kind of creepy.

Put up or shut up, Johnson.

Jackass Johnson

We have found out in recent days that Matthew A. Johnson embellished contributions for his book of science fiction but he doesn't seem to think there is anything wrong with that, judging from his reaction. He has made himself the victim. Johnson destroyed the context of the contributions by adding his own words to them. It's wrong, plain and simple. I don't think I can type that any slower so his sychophants can comprehend the depths of Johnson's stupidity.

Controversy? Matthew Johnson brought that on himself. He shows no remorse or offers any apology for editing the words of someone else.

His next printing cycle? He could be in a home drooling in his oatmeal by then. He should pull all of his remaining books and reprint his silly work of fiction sans the foreword and the edited contributions.

Cyber-bullying? For reporting the facts? What a fucking crybaby. What a victim poor old Matt makes himself out to be.

Maybe if Johnson wasn't such a dick head, he wouldn't have to edit his failure of a book.

Just look at all the mindless people kissing his ass. I bet they don't even know what the hell is going on. They just blindly agree to whatever Johnson spoon feeds them. Except for Mike. Mike thought for himself. Mike made a comment that is not in line with the drum beating of Matthew Johnson.
Mike is no longer in the group. See how that works? I saw at least three people that were removed for daring to think for themselves.

How the majority of people in his group can't see through the bullshit still amazes me. These people are adults. This is classic cult-like behavior, in my opinion.

Uh....Really? Matthew Johnson is loyal to himself, no one else. He will squeeze every ounce of usefulness out of a person and toss them to the curb...and then make himself the victim. This is nothing more than blatant propaganda by Johnson to keep his wagons circled.

This one is equally as hypocritical as the one above it. Matthew Johnson back stabbed Bob Gimlin and Alyssa. Poor Matt just can't get a break. What a condescending asshole.


Matthew Johnson needs to pull all copies of his book and correct the errors he created himself. The only one to blame for this mess is Matthew Johnson. That can not be disputed. It is a fact.

I heard a lot of horror stories about the conference. Very disturbing things. The stuff of paranoid delusions. If anyone wishes to contact me to share their experiences with Johnson, I am easy to find.

Matthew A. Johnson ~ The Beginning of the End?

It's no secret that I am not a fan of Matthew Johnson. I always thought he was a pompous ass and a liar. He is other things as well but mostly he is those two things.

Over the years his stories have become more grandiose. Bigger claims were made yet very little in the way of any sort of evidence has ever been presented. A three foot shiny shit in a box is not evidence of Bigfoot. Did he have any of the scat tested? If so, where is the data? Props are not evidence, folks. Seriously.

A few...or a couple of years ago (I didn't really pay attention) Matt Johnson started his own conference so he could beat his chest and tell people what to think. I had only ever seen snippets of his yawn inspiring bullshit but this year I decided to watch all four parts of his "Great Reveal".
To say I was appalled would be a gross understatement.

Throughout the entire four hour presentation, Johnson was angry, or appeared to be angry. He seemed agitated. I got the impression that he does not like to be questioned about his claims. It's as if he just expects people to blindly believe him, which a lot of people did, much to my surprise.
Johnson's rabid story was full of "I don't lie". Someone who does that much damage control is usually lying. Anyway, this blog post is not about the great reveal. If people can't shake the bullshit coma that this is, there is no hope for them.

This post is about this fictional book by Matthew A. Johnson. I call it a work of fiction for reasons that should become apparent later on.

Before, during and after his conference, Johnson hyped up his book and it centered around the foreword by none other than Mr. Bob Gimlin. Mr. Gimlin was supposed to be at the conference, according to Johnson but Gimlin allegedly had another engagement. How true this was, I have no idea. 

Fast forward until just a couple of days ago. Russell Acord had a sit down with Bob Gimlin so Bob could clear the air and state what really went on. Bob came across as very diplomatic, gracious and kind and it was a bit frustrating for me. I tend to be blunt about things so there is no guess work but we are all different.

I won't put any words in to Bob's mouth. If you have not watched the interview, here it is. Decide for yourself. Personally, I think a nice man was taken advantage of by a controlling assclown.

It didn't take long for a Johnson lap dog to come running out of the yard to impugn Russell Acord. Instead of letting the blame fall where it should, Patrick Epistemon tries to blame Russell, and to some degree, Bob Gimlin. Really? Bob Gimlin did not look like he was being forced to testify. I did not see Russell coerce Bob in to making statements. He simply asked questions and he let Bob speak. It's how interviews are done.

Patrick took it upon himself to be damage control.

There is just one problem with this. Patrick is trying to twist this in to basically calling Bob Gimlin a liar. Bob, in his own words said he should have been more careful. I got the impression that Bob felt he was lied to or otherwise misinformed as to what the book would be about.
By all accounts, Bob Gimlin is considered by most to be as honest as the day is long and I have no reason to disbelieve that. Mr. Gimlin appeared to be matter of fact and his body language doesn't lead me to believe he was lying.

Aside from Bob Gimlin, we have Adam Davies. I have tremendous respect for Adam Davies. After his radio interview in which he explained his experiences in SOHA, Adam was kind enough to call me at my request to discuss what went on up there.

Adam has denounced Matthew Johnson for his own reasons. It mainly has to do with Johnson's claims that Bigfoot can heal sick people. Matthew Johnson is an outright liar for saying such things and I will continue to believe and say that until absolute proof is brought forth to back up those outrageous claims. It is beyond reprehensible for a "doctor" to suggest such things.

Even Derek Randles had his say in the matter. Derek usually keeps to himself so for him to say anything, one should pay attention.

Are you seeing a common denominator yet?

There are other people who have turned on Johnson as well but I think it has more to do with the attention shifting than it has to do with anything noble. Self centered fuckers. They know who they are.

This next one is different. For the record I do not subscribe to her notions or claims. At one time we were Facebook friends but that came to an end after a blog post I wrote about ....Matthew Johnson.
Here we are, full circle now. 
During the time we were friends, her posts and comments were always consistent. Her opinions and experiences never deviated and she struck me as someone who honestly believes what she is saying.
This is vastly different than intentionally trying to mislead people.

As you can imagine, I was taken aback after reading her statement today. It is lengthy but I encourage everyone to read it in its entirety. Read it carefully.

 Basically, Matt took her words and embellished them to dress up her contribution to his book. Matthew Johnson's controlling nature rears its ugly head. The douchebag just can't be happy with a contribution from someone, he has to mess with it to satisfy his twisted ego.

I have no doubt that Matthew did the same thing with Bob Gimlin's alleged contribution. I wonder how many words were actually from Bob Gimlin, if any at all.

Will the Johnson apologists come out from the shadows to smear Alyssa's name or will they finally admit that they wrongfully believed Matthew A. Johnson?
I have no doubt that Ms. Runwithwolves' statement is the truth.

What I see is Matthew Johnson taking advantage of the kindness of people for his own selfish needs so he can peddle a book full of lies in a half empty room.

Epic. Tragic. Failure.

Utah Sasquatch

It has been quite awhile since I have blogged about anything of interest. That loud mouthed buffoon, Kelly Shaw is still out there swiping sightings reports from the BFRO and then parroting the finding on his YouTube channel so he can buy new props for his drone.

Apparently, and unaware to me, there is a new kid in town. He goes by Utah Sasquatch but his name is allegedly Nathan Reo but I did find another person by a similar name. Nathan Reo Garn, but more about that later.

 I watched this kid's videos a couple of times and just chalked him up to being another self deluded stump hunter and shadow chaser. He reminds me of Timbergiant in obvious and subtle ways. A good looking charmer that the camera seems to like. After watching his videos a few more times the similar subtleties started to emerge.

  Like Timbergiant, Reo will plant seeds in the minds of his viewers as he's making his videos. He questions himself much like Timbergiant does. This lends an air of credibility among his viewers. There are many other subtle things but I won't get in to all of that. I hope people look for these clues on their own. I also find him to be a tad bit misleading. Nonetheless, his gullible fan base gobble all of it up, including Christopher Noel. The same Christopher Noel that believed Hank the Bigfoot was real. Nuff said there. I wonder if Yale has asked for its diploma back yet.

I have not seen the following video...or maybe I have. If I did, it was probably one of those videos where you roll your eyes, laugh, and wonder why anyone would believe the claims made in it.

I would post a link to the video but Mr. Utah made the video private. I can't stand thin skinned crybabies like him. The first time they get called out, they need to run to their safe space and make long explanation videos as to why they hid all of their videos. Funny, all the hoaxers do that too. Hmmm...

I'll get back to this video in a moment. To be honest, I laughed this guy off until I found out that not only did he start a GoFundMe  campaign, he already has over $5,000 donated by some gullible rubes.
According to Reo he needs $20,000 to buy a camera or ten. 20K is a shit load of money, especially money for a hobby. I personally think that if a "researcher" is going to solicit for money they should at least have 1.) some of their own equipment funded by them. 2.) very good evidence to justify the need for the equipment. Reo has none of that. He has charm and a smile, big fucking deal. Show me something more than a dark blip in a video.
  This is reminiscent of Timbergiant again. Remember when TGBF was gifted a $2,500 video camera? Ask Jimbergiant where it is now.

I am by no mean rich but I have funded all of my own equipment. I saved and purchased a great, used camcorder for $850, which was half the going price.
It records in 1080p, 1080i and everything below that. It records up to 60fps and does time lapse. I can take high quality photos with it. The camera also feature FULL manual controls and I believe that is vital when you need to zoom in. It allows you to focus in on the subject you want.
  It comes dual XLR ports for superior audio recording and both channels can be adjusted manually. She is a heavy beast but manageable for an amateur like me.

 So, I ask myself, WHY would an amateur Bigfooter with zero evidence need $20,000 for a camera?
Even a broadcast quality camera won't run that much. Maybe $5,000 or under would get you a good used camera like that. For YouTube videos almost any HD camcorder will work well.

Maybe he needs a thermal camera. Oh wait. I bought the Seek Thermal for my phone for $200. FLIR makes a thermal now that is around the $600 mark.

   Maybe he needs a good digital camera. Oh....I paid $149 for my Kodak that shoot at 14megapixels. Again, it's not high end but it produces good, clear images.

  Maybe he wants 35mm film cameras because you know, it's difficult to manipulate film photographs. While that may be true, the alleged subjects can be fabricated.
  I have three 35mm film cameras, each with their own lens and that totaled about $200 and includes a carrying case. The cameras are mechanical and require no batteries to take pictures. They only power the light meter. A stand alone light meter can be bought for $5. I have one of those as well.

I have some crappy audio recorders and some crappy night vision that doesn't amount to much. By my calculations, I have spent approximately $1,500 in recording gear. I have equipment accessories and a few other cameras. Even if I spent $2,000, it's a far cry from the $20K that Reo wants and there is not a thing wrong with the gear I have. I could use a sweet audio recorder or great parabolic microphone but it's not in the cards right now.

  My point is that Nathan Reo has committed no investment to his research. No cameras and nothing to show. I have recorded a couple of things I find interesting but I don't use that as leverage to ask for funds for other gear.
  He has no detailed mission statement. The people donating get nothing for their money except a big white toothed smile.

There are people who are homeless and people who are hungry and this clown is asking for $20,000 so he can support his hobby and ego. Do golfers set up GoFundMe campaigns for a new set of golf clubs? Fuck no.

At least make an effort to get some gear. Any gear. A cell phone doesn't cut it.

Okay. I took a couple of days off for the smoke to clear before I continued with this blog post.
I am usually quite hard on people who lie and/or hoax but I really want to like Nathan and I want to believe that he is above board. I watched his 'Bread Crumbs' video which has been removed, just like the rest of his other videos. That right there is a red flag. His body language was a red flag.
A word of advice to Reo. If you have very thin skin, Bigfooting is not for you.

  My biggest jaw drop was when Nathan, with a straight face, repeatedly lied about his knowledge with regards to video and audio editing. Either he lied about not knowing video editing or he lied about his resume on his linked in profile, which he conveniently deleted.

My laptop was acting up so I used a screen recorder to capture his profile. I had a feeling he would delete his Linkedin. All hoaxers delete shit so this isn't looking good for Utah Sasquatch.

I have to ask WHY would Nathan scrub his YouTube channels (yes, plural) and his Linkedin? He has two other channels unrelated to Bigfoot that he cleaned up.

Why go through all the hassle of deleting his internet presence when he could just jump in a group and answer questions like he said he would, or could do? This seems like the crybaby way out and it doesn't seem to be the first time he ran to his safe place after being questioned.

 I want to believe this guy but he is making it extremely difficult. Pulling posts, deleting comments, profiles and videos do not give him any credibility in my opinion. It's like he has something to hide. He can always say "I never said that" and his groupies would likely believe him. I know what I heard and saw in his Bread Crumb video. I bet he saw the same things upon reviewing it and decided that it didn't work in his favour. He is a counselor and alleged Psycho Therapist/Tech, so I'm sure he knows how to be convincing to his fans. The sympathy card and long drawn out explanations didn't cut it for me. Perhaps he needs more acting lessons.

If Nathan Reo doesn't want to be questioned or critiqued, he shouldn't be in Bigfooting and he shouldn't ask for $20,000 for a thermal camera. Any results would be inconclusive anyway.

Kelly Shaw - Liar and Hypocrite

My friend, Richard Allen has already covered this in his own blog, here but the sheer karma factor has forced me to add my own two cents worth.

  Some of you may be aware of Kelly Shaw and others may not. Shaw is an alleged Bigfoot researcher who likes to name things after Bigfoot, such as Sasquatch Ridge, Sasquatch Holler, Bigfoot Valley or what the fuck ever stupid name pops in to his poorly lit cranium.

  Kelly's Bigfoot evidence to date consists of trees, shadows, and stumps but he tries his best to say they are Bigfoot. I have not seen any follow up by Shaw to redeem himself and his "evidence". Mostly he just likes to talk.

And talk he does. I have lost count of how long it has been since Shaw has been harping on Steven and Jamie of the Bluff Creek Project but it has been a long time. For some reason, Kelly Shaw has an axe to grind with the duo who run the project with other people.

Shaw has accused Steven Streufert of being lazy because Shaw himself is too lazy to clean out his shit filled ears. There was an interview with Steven that is still available online. Steven had said that if the project grew in size and area that the Project may consider hiring students to help them retrieve cameras. This work could lead to class credits for the students but I'm not sure on how any of that works. I listened to the interview and I know what was said. Anyone with the IQ above room temperature knows what was said and what was implied. The Project would possibly seek *help* with their endeavor.

  Kelly Shaw heard this, shredded any truthful parts until he was left with a bare bones chassis of what was actually said. From there, Shaw embellished and just plain made up shit. He got it stuck in his thick melon that Steven from the Bluff Creek Project was going to sit back while other people did his work for him. THAT is a fucking lie. It's a lie and Shaw knows it...or he should know it, unless his comprehension skills are so bad that he requires further education.

Streufert NEVER said he would retire and pass off the physical work to students. The students would be a compliment to the existing crew of people who would need to retrieve who knows how many cameras spread out over who knows how many square miles. The discussion about this was a "what if" scenario. What if the Project became huge, or what if the project carried on for the next 50 years?
That was what I walked away with from listening to the interview.

Shaw found something, or so he thought. He twisted it, added his own bullshit and then peddled it in any group that would listen to him cry. I'm not sure why Shaw has it out for Steven Streufert. Maybe because it's because Shaw can't debate with Steven. Maybe it's because Shaw is proven wrong every time he opens up his lying piehole. He call Steven a coattail rider of the PGF, yet Shaw will drive around to various locations so he can parrot old BFRO reports on his YouTube channel. Am I the only one to see the hypocrisy here?

Under normal circumstances I try to stay out of one on one arguments between people but I will defend my friends when I think they are right.

Kelly Shaw has singled out Steven for whatever reason. I really have no clue where his hate comes from. He demonizes Steven when it really isn't warranted. Maybe Shaw is upset that he isn't as intelligent as Steven. Maybe he's bitter because he loses debate after debate on any given topic.
It's very sad that an individual is attacked, bullied, and relentlessly bothered because he is intelligent.
It's difficult to beat Steven in a debate. Some have beat him but not by much. I am not one of those people but I have no ill will towards Steven for that.

People get up in arms over racism, sexism and many other "isms" but it seems acceptable by some that it's okay to bully people who are educated. Steven runs a book store for fuck sake. I bet he reads books like some people drink coffee. It's obvious to me that the man wants to learn as much as he can about any topic that he finds interesting. Is that a sin? Where the hell did this anti-intellectual movement come from? When did it become okay to bash the smart people?

I think Shaw is butthurt that he gets his ass kicked every time. Maybe a bit of self education will put Kelly on a more level playing field one day. I suspect that won't happen any time soon because he is consumed with hatred. Kelly Shaw is so consumed that he has resorted to outright fabrications.
There is no way out for Shaw now. Any credibility he had is shot to hell. Kelly only has himself to blame.

This. This photo right here is what destroyed Kelly Shaw. It's very amusing that the photo is of a weasel. A long tailed weasel to be exact.

Kelly knows so little about wildlife that he called this a coastal marten. When I was trying to find the real source of this photo, I was searching for Humboldt Martens. What I noticed was that the Marten looked nothing like this animal above. The face was different. The Marten has pointier ears, different fur colour and length. I started to search for weasels instead and it took me all of five minutes to find out that this little fellow (or female) is a long tailed weasel.

I will give you the context in a screen shot.

As you can see, Kelly immediately tries to come off as some self proclaimed expert on the Humboldt Marten. Maybe Shaw doesn't realize that people actually studied the animal, it's habitat, range and numbers. You know, factual things that are written in articles and put on websites. So far Kelly has lied about what kind of animal he allegedly took a photograph of and he has lied about the rarity of the Humboldt Marten.


You may think to yourself "so what?". Kelly could be blowing hot air just to ruffle feathers. I might be able to accept that if it wasn't for the fact that my friend and awesome amateur detective, Skyla found the source for the weasel photo.

There you have it folks. Kelly Shaw swiped a copyrighted photograph so he could tell more lies about Steven, and lies about an endangered animal that the Bluff Creek Project managed to photograph from one of their trail cameras. Shaw is bitter over someone else's success.


As if this wasn't enough, Shaw once again opens up his stupid piehole to tell another lie.

Look at that! Shaw challenges people to post the photo that he claims he has a copyright on. Not only have I posted the photo but I will post it again. Go ahead, sue me you worthless lying sack of shit. Shaw is the one who needs to be ashamed of himself. He is a pathetic excuse of a human being. He's a window licker, mouth breather and all around knuckle dragging moron.

Shaw doesn't have any facts on his side so he needed to completely fabricate a story in order to vilify Steven and the BCP.

Kelly Shaw has had his ass kicked by pure facts. This isn't anything I made up. The truth speaks for itself folks. There is no denying that Kelly Shaw is a liar. He knowingly lied in order to prop up his over inflated ego.


I would ask you this. Since Shaw has no problem lying about things such as a photo of a weasel and the honor of good people, I have to wonder if he has lied about his Bigfoot evidence, photos, videos and anything else related to Kelly Shaw's "research".

Shaw was quick to label people hoaxers based on weak evidence that was clearly taken out of context but he seems to fancy himself as above the "law". Based on the evidence in this blog post, I have no problem labeling Kelly Shaw of the RMSO a hoaxer. There is no way out for Shaw. There is no back pedaling and no denying. Kelly hung himself with his own hatred and with his own web of lies.

The Squatchmaster: Hoaxing since 2011, Maybe Longer

I have decided to take on busting other hoaxers as time permits and last night, 'The Squsatchmaster' was busted wide open with his video, 'Sasquatch Speech'.

Here is the original video by Jeff Patterson. Don't worry, he can't delete this one from my blog.

This is a recent video of Jeff's in which he claims there is Bigfoot language. We now know this is false because I covered it on last night's blog. Steve Kulls also performed an analysis and came to the same conclusion as I did.

Jeff Patterson posted this particular video on Sept. 5, 2014. There is a lot of echo in the video so we know he has tampered with it. The question is why?

Why am I bringing up this video again?

 Let's take a trip back to Sept. 7, 2011 for the answer. I was looking through Jeff's videos for anything interesting and I wanted something older that shows the Squatchmaster's hoaxing goes back a few years.

I found this little gem hidden way down low in his videos. You need to watch this video first before going to the one below because Jeff Patterson is caught in some lies.

Here is the above video, only I recorded it backwards again. Did you notice anything? There is no reverb in this version. I'll get to that in a moment.

In this original video, Jeff says this was an EVP session his son conducted and Jeff also said he played the recording BACKWARDS. Now, if he did that, he would know that the recording contained living human speech. The Squsatchmaster deliberately duped people with this audio. He knowingly hoaxed and he can not deny this.


We already know that Jeff hoaxed his recent 'Sasquatch Speech' video but he also had the nerve to lie to someone who questioned him.

"This was part of an EVP session years ago along the lake near one of the old farms that is now under water.
This particular audio clip was from a 4 minute file that has gotten lost over the years."

Really? It got lost? Perhaps Jeff can explain how I found it so easily. Squatchmaster flat out lied to the person he was replying to in the comments of his 'Sasquatch Speech' video.

Jeff Patterson committed a hoax in 2011 and recycled it for another hoax in 2014. The man is a complete fraud and he should not be trusted. All of his videos are worthless now (as if they weren't before).

I highly doubt these are isolated incidences, folks. The day of reckoning for all of these hoaxers has arrived.
