Beacon Bigfoot

To be perfectly honest, I thought the Beacon Bigfoot would eventually resurface as all alleged Bigfoot videos do. I thought this series of videos had been soundly busted back when the video first came out.

A few sleuths were able to shed some light on the videos but nothing comprehensive has put this to bed...until now.

Last year I collected everything I needed to cover this subject should the need arise to write a blog post to squash this once and for all. I would like to thank my friend Steve Alcorn for pointing me in the right direction. He gave me one piece of information that will bring down the entire house of cards.

I am sure many new people have joined the community since this series of videos popped up on the internet a couple of years ago. I say series because there is more than one video. There are several.

For the sake of being thorough, I will post everything I know about the videos and the people but I will try to be brief.

Let's start with the blog, Beacon Bigfoot

As far as Bigfoot blogs and images of Bigfoot goes, this blog should be the golden goose. The blog is full of videos and rich, clear images BUT if something looks too good to be true, it usually is.
Here are some images from the blog if you don't feel like reading. At least go there to verify for yourself.

Impressive, aren't they? One would think that these photos were staged. If you thought that, you would be correct. None of these photos are action shots, it's just some dude..or woman, posing in a Bigfoot costume.

The blog was run by 'Randal Hart' and I suspect that 'Randal' is not her real name. Many others feel the same as I do. Randal also has a YouTube channel.
Here is the link: Randal Hart

Randal Hart

"Her" channel has a few videos, all of them are of the Beacon Bigfoot. I use that name to cover all of the videos, regardless of location because this was masterminded by one individual but I will get to that in a moment.

From this point things got cold but the connections were so close. Steve Alcorn saw that I was working on this and he immediately pointed me in the right direction. After that everything (with some digging) fell in to place.

I contacted the following person via Twitter and he was more than happy to set me on the right path.

Finally. I had a name. To be honest, I had never heard of Ron English so I googled his name. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Ron English is a talented, popular and successful artist. I spent hours looking at all of paintings, his urban paintings on buildings and all manner of Ron English artwork. I'm an art geek so hours flew by in minutes, or so it seemed.

Mr. English has a great website called Popaganda and this is where he shows of much of his work.

Once I came upon this information I started to reconsider that these videos were not a full blown hoax by some schlep. The videos were and are still a hoax because nobody came clean, as far as I know b ut I think there is a more innocent reason for all of this.

Personally, I think this was all for promoting an event or events in that area. I started to dig around and found an Erica Patterson who saw the Bigfoot herself and declared it to be real.

It was nice of Erica to post a video because it meant she had a channel. If she had a channel, maybe she had more videos.

Well, would you look at that. Another connection to Ron English. Maybe Erica worked for Mr. English or maybe she is a fellow artist but it really matters not. What matters is that there is a connection but it's really just circumstantial at this point.

I kept following the bread crumbs until I found this.

Jackpot. We now have a direct link to the "Beacon Bigfoot" videos. All of this was done in order to promote a documentary by Ron's son, Mars English.

Here is the twenty three minute short movie:

Here are some photos of the costumes used in the movie.

I think it's safe to say that this can now be put to rest. It has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Beacon Bigfoot videos were hoaxed in order to promote a young man's documentary.

Even though this is technically a hoax, I am having a hard time getting upset about it because it wasn't your typical hoax and I love the arts. The videos were merely promotional tools to drum up excitement.

Some of you may disagree with me on that sentiment and that's cool with me.

Questioning the M.K. Narrative: Bluff Creek Bigfoot

M.K. Davis has created quite a stir with his latest video and his claim that he unknowingly recorded a Bigfoot at Bluff Creek. M.K. has gone so far as to post two enhanced videos of the subject and one video explaining how he came to record the video in question.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I question all evidence and I never take any evidence at face value. It's in my nature to break it down in every aspect. If there is a crumb trail, I will follow it. Well, I found a few crumbs.

I can tend to be long winded and this might be one of those times because I think it's important to be thorough.

For those who have not seen the alleged Bigfoot video, here it is, as posted by M.K. Davis. All copyrights belong to the copyright holder. Videos and screen shots are used for educational purposes, commentary and criticism purposes only.

I won't post the enhanced videos but I would like you to watch this video where M.K. Davis explains the events that led up to his alleged Bigfoot video.

M.K. drags this video out a bit by covering two months worth of trips to Bluff Creek. He is including a lot of other information in order to give his Bigfoot video some legitimacy, in my opinion. He seems to be going through an awful lot of effort to show what he thinks is Bigfoot activity. The fact is, there is no evidence of that. Broken trees happen for a variety of reasons.

When I go to the woods I come across broken trees all the time. I even come up to groups of broken trees and here is a shot I took a few months ago to prove it.

There are about five or six trees in the foreground that are all broken at about the same height. So what you might say. Exactly, says I. I think M.K. is just trying too hard to convince us that was a Bigfoot.

In the above narrated video (this seems to be a new theme) explaining what happened, Mr. Davis goes on to say they found a lair but in the original video, there is no mention of any such thing. There is a lengthy shot of water trickling from a hillside and then the video cuts away to show Don talking about a deer skull. Likewise, there was no mention of any prints in the original video.

Have a look for yourself. I believe this video was recorded in October of 2008. It's what M.K. says at one point in the video.

This video turned out to be a gem. When I was watching the narrated video and it got to the part with the culverts, I knew I had seen it before. I went to M.K.'s channel and dug until I found the exact video I had seen a couple of years earlier. I used to be quite the M.K. Davis fan but not so much now, sad to say.

I watched the video hoping to find anything in it that would be helpful to this new claim of a recorded yet unseen-by-his-own-eyes Bigfoot. I have recorded hundreds of hours of videos and not once did something this close go unnoticed by me. The human eye is wonderful for detecting movements and shifts in colours, among other fantastic things.  I simply can not buy the notion that M.K. was standing in a creek, recording in front of himself and he didn't notice this being to his right.
M.K. is in a shaded area with no sunlight in his eyes. I find the odds of him not seeing the thing to be astronomically beyond belief.

Davis then goes on to say that he walked by the beast and never saw it. He surmises that the critter pulled a branch down in order to conceal itself from the human. I am to believe that M.K. sloshed down the creek and this massive beast just sat there and didn't move. Perhaps it lost its fight or flight instincts, who knows for sure. All I can say is that I have never seen a large forest animal just stand there when a human gets that close to it. The animal will charge or it will flee but that's my experiences.

Another thing I would like to know is why M.K. cut his video in half. It kind of ruins the context of the situation. The ten or fifteen second video is actually closer to thirty seconds. Don't believe me?
See for yourself.

Once again, am I supposed to believe that M.K. was within yards of a Bigfoot that was apparently washing up with a cloth and this creature was completely unaware of M.K's presence for thirty seconds or longer? Am I supposed to believe that Mr. Davis didn't see the creature either?

What is easier for me to believe is that M.K. recorded his friend at the edge of the creek washing his hands and getting ready to head back to the truck. It also seems to be the most likely explanation.
Seven years is a long time to try to recall events that happened, especially when one doesn't know that they experienced an event in the first place.

Lastly, why didn't M.K. answer two people on his channel that asked who the figure was? There were only four comments below the video so it's not like he couldn't see it. Does M.K. not read his comments? I know I read all of the comments I receive. I may not answer all of them but I do read them. You Tube notifies the channel owner via email and/or Google+.

If you would like to check for yourself, here is a link to the video and the comments: Bluff Creek 2008

I admit that I am not the best at enhancing videos but I made only one adjustment to the video in hopes of exposing any details not seen in the original.

 Full video at normal speed:

First half of the video slowed down and zoomed:

I see what appears to be a human in a reddish coloured shirt who could possibly be wearing a backpack. The resolution is poor but I very much doubt that this is a Bigfoot.

Why dredge up a thirty second video from seven years ago when the originally posted two year old video only had 1,945 views?

Oh.....um.....never mind.

Question everything.

Special Ed and his Harem of Delusionals

The world of Bigfoot is getting crazier everyday. Asinine would be closer to the mark actually.

Recently Matt Johnson declared that a portal opened up at his uber secret location somewhere between fat bastard raccoons and diabetic squirrels, or more commonly known as SOHA.
Not a shred of evidence has been shown by Johnson to indicate that any of his claims are true. Talks of cloaking, mindspeak and disabling a portal with a mere flashlight is best left for late night stories to tell the kidlets around a campfire. It's not the stuff for serious adults interested in the subject of Bigfoot.
Show me some compelling evidence and I may change my mind.

This brings me to Ed Waterman. Ed's stories, photos and theories are more outlandish than Matt Johnson's or any other woo peddler out there in Bigfootland. Anyone declaring that Bigfoot has supernatural powers is full of shit, in my opinion. Big steaming piles of grade a horse shit.

These people have it made and there is no shortage of former turnip truck riders willing to believe these con artists. The crazier the story, the more people will believe it. Why? The rationale goes "who would make that up?" A fucking liar, that's who.

Next to Matt Johnson, Ed Waterman is a huge pet peeve of mine. He claims to be a great photographer but many of his photos are mediocre at best. I've seen better. Hell, I've taken better.

Let's get to the meat and potatoes of this blog post. Recently a photo surfaced showing a clear side shot of what appears to be a Bigfoot. Many opinions were passed around and until very recently, I wasn't sure if a unanimous decision had been reached. I shrugged off the photo until this evening when certain things were brought to my attention by a friend.

Here is the photo in question.

I was quite sure that this photo made the rounds a year or so ago. Photos and videos usually cycle through the community as new people arrive and it's to be expected.

I could forgive a new person for not knowing where this photo came from but I don't think I would be inclined to excuse Special Ed. You may ask yourself why I'm hard on Ed. My answer would be "because he is full of shit". Ed makes it up as he goes along. He just wings it and the gullible rubes gobble it up like candy.

When presented with the photo, here is what Waterman had to say.

Obviously Ed Waterman has no clue about the photo, who took it, or where it came from. I think Ed saw an opportunity to prop himself up with more steaming piles of shit, and he sure doesn't disappoint.

If he knew nothing about the photo, why make up all these things? Why invoke all this woo bullshit without so much as a shred of evidence to back up the claim?

He could have said he knew nothing about the photo but he didn't do that. It is for that very reason that I feel comfortable saying Ed Waterman is a hoaxing, lying assclown. He fabricated every word of his long winded story.

Unlike Ed, we had our suspicions of who owned the photo. It was just a matter of finding the "Bigfoot" in the exact pose. After a short search, Bruce Kelley was able to find the video in which the screenshot was taken from.

Well, would you look at that. A Mark Anders fake ass Bigfoot. Most of us already knew this but now we have the proof.

Here is the video.

Be careful who you believe and what you believe. There are too many charlatans in the land of Bigfoot and they will make your money disappear faster than you can say "What the fuck?"

Ed Waterman - Hoaxer, Or......Something Else?

I'm not even sure where to start with this jackass. Ed Waterman claims to be a photographer with thousands of photos of Bigfoot. The only problem with this is that all of his photos show trees...and moss...and stumps. It is beyond ridiculous.

Believe it or not, Waterhead actually has a following of gullible people who apparently are willing to believe anything they are told. It gets so bad in fact, his groupies start to post their own blurry stump photos and then there is great rejoicing, high fives and back slaps. I find it seriously disturbing.

This will be a post filled with screen shots. Some of them will be funny, and others will disturb you.

Here is a photo of alleged Bigfoot every where. The yellow circles prove it. All I see are a bunch of moss covered trees. This photo is in focus, so how could any rational adult think this photo shows so many of the elusive beings?

Wow, look at that. A pile of branches. I think Ed forgot to rule out all other possibilities first before jumping to the conclusion this was made or inhabited by Bigfoot.

Shooting cloakers just ten feet away? Really? How does Ed know they are there? If the Bigfoot mysteriously cloaked, it stands to reason that they don't want to be seen, right? Not these ones. They just stand there all invisible for Ed. Pure bullshit. Asshattery at it's finest.

What we have here is a lovely shot of some greenery. Thanks for the circles, Ed, I would have never seen the leaves. I wonder if he closed his eyes and picked random spots for the circles or if he had to think about it for awhile. This is what happens when people enable hoaxers. Perhaps Ed has mental issues. I don't know but the choices are limited. I'm not qualified to make such a determination.

There really are no words for this photo. I'm sure you can think up your own expletives.

All I can say is, looney tunes. Let's zoom in until we see something. Outrageous bullshittery.

Ed with his imaginary and invisible Bigfoot. The creature was invisible according to Ed but watertap knew how far away it was. Um, okay.

Ed doesn't come out and say it but I get the impression that he wants people to think these rock piles were made by something unknown.
It took someone about five minutes to show that Ed is stretching things by a long shot.

Oh, darn it. Would you look at that. It was only humans. This isn't such a mystery after all. Stop enabling these con artists. Wake up!

Now I'll show Ed's dark, twisted and disturbing side. If you are easily offended, click off the blog right now. It's the only warning you will get.

For real? What woman in her right mind would consent to sex with a Bigfoot? Waterheater apparently stood by and watched while a young boy was raped by a Sasquatch. Either Ed is full of shit, or he should seek professional help. Who in their right mind would even say such a thing?
It's appalling and disturbing. Seriously fucked up shit.

According to Ed, he snapped another photo of a woman with a Bigfoot clan. If this was in fact true, why didn't he call the police? Maybe it's because watermelon made up the entire scenario...or he has a screw loose. It's only a guess on my part. Just a personal opinion.

Ed Waterman is a truly messed up person in my opinion. He claims to have tracked down Steven Streufert, which really isn't hard to do. Steven is not shy about where he lives and how he can be found. I mean, who would have a bookstore hidden from public view?
Ed sounds like a bit of a creepy stalker waiting to blindly pounce on unsuspecting individuals. I don't recall Steven ever slandering Watertub. Ed has a hissy fit when he's questioned and he likes to threaten people with legal action. All the butthurt hoaxers do that. When in doubt, threaten with a lawyer.

I ran in to Ed Waterman in a Facebook Bigfoot group. I was delighted and thrilled to finally be able to tell this douchebag exactly what I thought  of him. He proceeded with the usual slurs about living at home, or being a city dweller, or never traveling to the woods. The thread was epic. Ed was getting it from all directions but he couldn't answer simple questions. He just kept repeating himself over and over.

Ed asked for photos from other people and I'm always up for a challenge. I decided to test Ed to see what his reaction would be to some of my "Bigfoot" photos. Unfortunately, Ed only responded to one photo but the answer was what I was looking for.

That was in a series of photos a viewer of my videos sent me. According to the viewer, I was surrounded by Bigfoot. I went back to the area under the same conditions and at the same time of day. I followed up on each photo and soundly debunked all of them except for one.
The photo that Ed thinks is a Bigfoot is actually a fallen stump. A stump! A large dead piece of wood.

If we want this community to be taken seriously, we need to rid it of the cons, hoaxers and bullshit artists. Where does Ed Waterman fit in? That's difficult to determine, given his strange behavior.
I would suggest moving on to honest researchers. Leave the egomaniacs to themselves. Sooner or later they will disappear...hopefully.

Question everything. Take the time to research the researcher.

Exclusive: The Torn Up Camp Videos

Since I talked so much in my last couple of blog posts, I will be short on words tonight. The 'Torn Up Camp' videos have garnered a lot of attention recently, mostly due to the fact that the videos were pulled. The other factor is that many people have not seen the videos. I have seen the videos in the past and noted nothing nefarious.

Thanks to a person who shall remain anonymous, I am thrilled to be able to finally share these videos with all of you.

This is the night time video.

Day time video.

I have reviewed the videos and I still do not see anything that can not be attributed to human activity. In my younger days I went to many bush parties and witnessed things far worse than this. I have seen "tore up" woods and it was due to drunken idiots hacking down trees or from people intentionally running in to trees with their trucks. People due stupid things while under the influence of alcohol.

I have been on bike runs and plenty of poker runs that involved over night stays in campgrounds. I have seen what sauced up, half-in-the-pail adults will do. I have seen torn up camps and the camp in this video pales in comparison.

I am not saying that this is what happened but it certainly is possible, and I would go so far as to say that it's probably likely that this was just a drunken party that got out of control. I don't see anything that would indicate otherwise but that's my personal opinions.

Here are some photos of the general area in Sam Houston National Forest

According to my source, it has rained in this area for two weeks straight. There was a lot of deadfall in the area as well.
